What Have I Done

REFLECTION:

Start of the school year 2014-2015, I don’t know what to expect. I taught, I should give all of my best because it is already my last year here on Ilocos Sur National High School. But still things don’t end up the way they used to be.
What a challenging subject I have here, ICT IV. Blog making, I didn't want to write something about issues, because maybe someone will be hurt of what am I going to write. And also because I am that kind of person that is not to much good on writing. But so far, I have made myself 3 blogs, and developed my focus on writing.
Problems that I have encountered is not too tough but it can be easily solve. My number 1 problem here, is my laziness. But forcing myself to make a blog for my own grade is the reason for me to took that attitude off.
Moving on, I will......do my best on my works. Let me enhance my skills on Blog Making and let me not give up at any means.

Nutrition Month Celebration

Our country, Philippines is one which is often times stroke by numerous calamities. To name same, earthquakes, el nino, la nina and the most common, typhoons, We are being visited by more than 20 typhoons every year. The questions are: Are we ready to face these natural disasters? How strong are we to undergo their effects?
The month of July is known to be the Nutrition Month Celebration with a broad theme. It is encouraging us Filipinos to have a remedy to one of the worst effect of calamities, which is hunger. It encourages us to use available resources or materials in the locality to create palatable menus, that is interesting to children, for us not to be problematic about hunger. If Filipinos will be able to remedy hunger with available materials on the place then malnutrition will no longer be a problem. This skill will make us ready with any calamity that may stroke our place.
But this is only one of the many things that we can do to be calamity ready. This must take a long preparation since we need to restructure our environment. As a popular saying goes, "Prevention is Better Than Cure". We must start planting trees for us to provide soil holders. Or we must learn the 3R's: reduce, reuse and recycle. But knowing is not enough, we must apply what we know in order for our country be calamity free.
