Equal Rights Equal Opportunities

Equality or equal society implies that everyone enjoys the same rights. Everyone is bound by the same laws, has access to the same health care and education and equal opportunity to employment. Given the diversity in race, social status and economic status in our society, true equality can be difficult to achieve.

First, you might want to consider whether or not is true that all people deserve equal opportunities, right and respect. For example, does a murderer continue to have a right to liberty or is society justified in taking that right away by throwing the murderer in jail. If you believe that the latter is true, and then you do not believe that an industrialist who sets up his own company that provides employment for over a hundred workers is just as admirable as a homeless person who has destroyed his mind with drugs, then you do not believe that all people deserve equal respect, either. So, you might begin by attacking the question and showing a capacity for critical thought when given a manifestly foolish prompt.

When the issue of equal opportunity is raised, not everyone will be in agreement. We are all entitled to free education through our public school systems. Without a college or university degree, people are less likely to secure a high paying job. Which lead to inequality.

2nd Quarter Reflection

Five months already passed since I entered my Senior Life on my High School Life. And Second Grading Period is already done. My tiredness must be over for now, it is now the Third Grading Period, and I know to myself that as Third Grading passes by, it is the time for me to get serious on my studies. Specially now, my grades are a bit low. Yes, lessons, activities and projects is not just like on the earlier grading periods, I expect that it will be more difficult. I should be happy, because when something is more difficult, the more I may learn, and when I learn more, the nicer my future is.

Sports Is For Everyone!

There are many opportunities for students to play sports and hang out with their friends without having to try out or practice. One of those areas will be intramural sports. Intramural will either be lead by student government, student development, or the student affairs/activities office of the university or college. Small colleges will have everything from a student lead program to those who have a director of campus recreation/intramuralThese called Intramural, which are recreational but yet still have that competitive edge. Some of these sports are team events and some are individual. One can participate in arnis, badminton, basketball, taekwondo, volleyball, and many more.
Intramural are a great way to expand your base of friends on campus, to divert your attention  from the pressures of the classroom and, of course to help keep the freshman off the body.

Teachers? ----- Heroes!

"A hero is a man who does what he can".
To children, there are many superheroes: Superman, Batman, Spider-man, Iron-man, Hulk, Captain America and many more. To a children who is at Grade 4 to Grade 6, superheroes for them are: Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Emilio Aguinaldo and many more.
What makes a superhero to you? Is one superhero if he/she can fly? Has a supernatural powers? One that can carry a giant stone?
But when those children is at their High School Life, they realize that, Superman, Batman, Spider-man, etc. do not exists and Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, etc. are heroes on the old generation, they realize that heroes on the new generations are teachers. Teachers which is supportive, very sincere, very nice and fun to be with.

Science Month Celebration 2K14

The month of September is known to be the Science Month Celebration. Every year, their must be a theme, they update it every year. And the team for 2K14 is, "Immunation: Arming Science Clubbers with Healthful Defenses Toward National Wellness".

There are advantages and disadvantages of being an immune person. I'll start at advantage, if a person is immune, bacteria and viruses cannot be easily accepted by your body. If your body accepted many bacteria and viruses, sickness will occur. Disadvantage: If your body is not immune, your body can suffer sickness recently.

They say that, "Prevention is Better Than Cure", so let us prevent ourselves from viruses and bacteria! Let us eat green leafy vegetables! Let us be immune!

My Own Heroes

Superman. Batman. Spiderman. Ironman. Captain America and many more. Is one of them your hero? Let me ask you something, what is a hero to you? Is it the one who has a supernatural skills? One that has the ability to fly? Or one that has the ability to carry a giant stone?
Back to the time that I were an elementary student, I dreamed to have my superhero, the one that will save me. Sometimes then, I thought I will be the superhero of someone or to all as well because I thought that it will be better if I am the hero. Like on stories, I will be the main character, the protagonist. The one that will protect people and also the one who will defeat the antagonist.
Time passed by, I realized that heroes does not really exist, because there is no one who can fly or has the ability to carry a giant stone alone. As days goes by, I finally realized that heroes do really exist. But the hero that I am telling is the one that has no superpower, just simply himself/herself. In that time, I remembered the time of my downs and ups, they are on my side: The time I lost my allowance, I contacted him, and after how many minutes, he is here, to give me some money. The time that I have a love problem, she advised me, on what to do or what to say.  The time that I want to pass the entrance test on the school I want to go, they help me review in order for me to pass. And many more.
They are my greatest heroes, that's for sure. And the one that I am talking about are my parents, Francisco P. Corpuz III and Lany Q. Corpuz. And if my parents are reading this, I am very sorry, because when I were an elementary student, I prefer to have a hero that has a superpower than the one that are on my sides at all time. And I thank you too.

What Have I Done

REFLECTION:

Start of the school year 2014-2015, I don’t know what to expect. I taught, I should give all of my best because it is already my last year here on Ilocos Sur National High School. But still things don’t end up the way they used to be.
What a challenging subject I have here, ICT IV. Blog making, I didn't want to write something about issues, because maybe someone will be hurt of what am I going to write. And also because I am that kind of person that is not to much good on writing. But so far, I have made myself 3 blogs, and developed my focus on writing.
Problems that I have encountered is not too tough but it can be easily solve. My number 1 problem here, is my laziness. But forcing myself to make a blog for my own grade is the reason for me to took that attitude off.
Moving on, I will......do my best on my works. Let me enhance my skills on Blog Making and let me not give up at any means.

Nutrition Month Celebration

Our country, Philippines is one which is often times stroke by numerous calamities. To name same, earthquakes, el nino, la nina and the most common, typhoons, We are being visited by more than 20 typhoons every year. The questions are: Are we ready to face these natural disasters? How strong are we to undergo their effects?
The month of July is known to be the Nutrition Month Celebration with a broad theme. It is encouraging us Filipinos to have a remedy to one of the worst effect of calamities, which is hunger. It encourages us to use available resources or materials in the locality to create palatable menus, that is interesting to children, for us not to be problematic about hunger. If Filipinos will be able to remedy hunger with available materials on the place then malnutrition will no longer be a problem. This skill will make us ready with any calamity that may stroke our place.
But this is only one of the many things that we can do to be calamity ready. This must take a long preparation since we need to restructure our environment. As a popular saying goes, "Prevention is Better Than Cure". We must start planting trees for us to provide soil holders. Or we must learn the 3R's: reduce, reuse and recycle. But knowing is not enough, we must apply what we know in order for our country be calamity free.

Letter to the President Republic of the Philippines

Mr. President:

                     Greetings of good day sir!

Different calamities had came to our country already. Typhoons, floods, earthquakes, and many more. We are also encountering many problems now a days. The most familiar problem we are encountering today, the Pork Barrel Scam by Janette Naples, or the one who where called the "Pork Barrel Queen". So sir, what will be your step regards this?
As I observed, our country is getting poor and slowly being destroyed. Yolanda as of typhoon passed, many lives have passed away, some have survived only in Tacloban. They have survived but no place to live in. More than 20 typhoons are passing throughout the year, if the half is like typhoon Yolanda, what will happen to our country?. There is also flood in every typhoons. Why? Because of lack of trees to our country. If ever you like sir, can you greater the programs that will give protection to the trees. For us to have a lesser floods and fresher air also.
This is just request of mine sir. If ever you approve my request, I will be thankful because I just want that our country will be a better for the next generation.

                                                                                                                 Very truly yours,

                                                                                                                 Franklin Charles Q. Corpuz
